Troubleshoot chassis fan issues on Asus Prime Z270P.
Hi, I've made some changes to my build and want to upgrade my fan system. My current case includes the standard rear fan (Corsair 100R) and an SP120 exhaust fan on top. I'm planning to add a third fan as a front intake, but the board only has two chassis fan headers. From what I've read, I can use a splitter to connect two fans to one header—my existing fans are Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition models. However, it mentions checking power consumption and usage. According to the link you shared, each fan draws about 0.08A. The motherboard seems to have around 1.00A headroom, which should be enough for this setup. Still, I'm unsure if it can handle a third fan along with my Hyper Evo TX3 heatsink. Most sources suggest the board is fine, but I want to be sure before connecting everything. Anyone have experience with this specific motherboard? I've reviewed the manual but need some clarity on this part. It's not a major concern for me, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
