your bios doesn't start up when you press f2, leaving only a dark screen.

Let me know the specific components you're using—motherboard, RAM type, and CPU model. Also, check if the fans are running and whether you notice heat on the processor. Clarify if the system is brand new or older, and whether it was assembled yourself or purchased from a specialist supplier. This will help us diagnose your problem more accurately.

I own an ASUS Prime B450M-K micro ATX board, 8GB Corsair LX Red RAM at 2133MHz, a Ryzen 5 2600 processor, and an RTX 2070 graphics card. The system hasn’t been prebuilt and isn’t from any manufacturer. I’ve been using it for two years now.

It seems the device didn’t start immediately; there were signs beforehand like sluggishness, frequent stuttering, crashes, and blue screens.

It happened after I installed new RAM. The computer wouldn’t start, then switching back to the original RAM worked, but when I went into BIOS it failed. No previous issues reported.

It appears the new RAM didn’t work at all, while the older one functioned properly. The system couldn’t start with either version.
