I recently received a new headset, the Corsair Void. It features a USB 3.0 port and operates wirelessly. When connected as the default for playback and recording, CPU usage tends to increase roughly once per hour, causing the system to pause completely for about five minutes before resuming. This pattern repeats regularly. The issue appears to be related to Windows audio device graph isolation. All Windows updates are installed, and the headset driver is current. I haven’t experienced problems with my Turtle Beach X12s or Z506 surround sound, which don’t rely on USB for audio or external utilities. Corsair suggested testing the headset with a similar device, but since I’m using Windows 7, I’m concerned about compatibility.
