Hi, I tried installing Windows 10 on my Samsung 300E notebook using a flash drive. It didn’t recognize the drive, and when I extracted it to a hard disk, the filesystem was listed as UDF download instead of NTFS. Could you help me figure out how to fix this?

Get the .ISO file for Windows 10, place it on a USB stick, and start from that drive. Utilize the Windows Media Creation Tool, followed by Rufus to write the ISO onto the USB.

Use an USB drive with more than 8 gigabytes in Windows Media Creation Tool. Follow the instructions step by step, such as making a media file and choosing the connected USB drive.

I don't have access to your device's current settings or installed software. To find out what operating system is running on your laptop, you can check the system information in the operating system settings or use a device manager tool.

It seems the original drive failed during installation of the new one.

You're asking if you can start from a USB drive. Since NelizMaster noted, you need to explain how you set up the Windows 10 installation on the USB.
