Verify the server's firewall allows port 25565 and ensure it’s correctly routed through your router.

I think you're asking about the steps to accomplish something. Could you clarify what you'd like to do?

Sure, I can help with that. Please send the screenshots of the configuration. Regarding connection issues, your friends might be experiencing timeouts. They’re using your public IP instead of the server’s private IP, and I’d like to know which operating system they’re running.

Windows 10 IP address was left empty by design for this picture, yet I replace it with the actual IP of my PC when screenshots aren't displayed. The timing out is happening, and I'm unsure how to distinguish it from the real one but think I can figure it out.

Internal or local IP addresses usually begin with 192.168. Avoid sharing these with strangers; they should reach your public IP address instead, which you can find via services like whatismyipaddress.com.

Yeah, that sounds like the problem. Would you prefer to assign the public IP in the server settings too?

The internal section of your port forwarding setup must display the server’s local IP address (beginning with 192.168). Those seeking access to the server should connect via your public IP (the one listed on https://whatismyipaddress.com/).

Sure, I'll check it out. If it doesn't work, I'll come back with more questions.

Thank you, it functions as intended now! (At least as I anticipated)
