Trouble loading speed on TPLink Archer VR300?
Hey, two weeks back a lightning surge hit your satellite dish and damaged two TVs and receivers. After fixing the TV, I noticed the PC’s motherboard failed and one internet switch port (connected via Cat5) was also affected. Then I discovered the main link I use (Archer VR300) which supplies internet via cables but isn’t delivering the expected speed—usually 25-27 Mbps download and 3-6 Mbps upload, now it’s only 21-24 Mbps download with a mere 0.5 Mbps upload. I spoke to my ISP, mentioning the lightning, but they didn’t mention it. The technician tried everything, even swapping all the main cables for a landline, but nothing helped. Yesterday I used an ADLS router I had previously; it supports up to 19 Mbps down and 1.1 Mbps up, yet it only reads 0.5 Mbps upload. My VDSL router (TLP300) seems to be the issue, reading just 0.5 Mbps. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Could the lightning impact upload speed while keeping downloads working?
