Triggering system shutdown or BSOD on the right-side panel
My computer keeps crashing with a BSOD when shutting down, especially when the main panel is being closed. This has never happened before. I was replacing some SATA cables while the system was unmounting a new SSD without any clear cause, and after that I noticed this issue. There are no obstructions and all motherboard brackets are secure. The PC remains properly grounded through the power supply. Please note: I recently added two TridentZ 3600 drives, both with matching serial numbers next to each other.
It seems the panel might be connecting to another component or a cable. There could be a wire contacting the opposite side of the case, forming a complete circuit. You'll need to disassemble it to identify the issue.
Latest non-beta bios identified. Problem resolved—wasn't a panel issue but loose memory sticks. Replaced all the sticks, and the system is functioning properly now, including the side panel.
