Tried to update bios.
Tried to update bios.
I was informed to update the BIOS, downloaded the file for my motherboard onto the stick, entered the BIOS settings, updated everything and it seemed normal. The update completed successfully but I encountered a blue screen stating "Recovery, Your PC/Device needs to be repaired". The error code displayed was 0xc000000f. The file location was WINDOWS\system32\winload.exe. When prompted, I selected "use a different operating system" and chose either Windows 10 or Windows 10 Home, as I recalled the 10 version being broken while Home worked. After some use, I revisited BIOS out of curiosity. My system specifications were: CPU Ryzen5 3600, motherboard MSI B450M Mortar Max, RAM 2400Mhz, before the issue it was 4.2Ghz and 3200Mhz.
try loading optimized settings and check if it improves things.
if you're comfortable with reduced performance, keep them unchanged.
if the problem continues, you might need to use Windows Recovery or reset - which will restore your system to a clean state (you'll have to reinstall your apps).

After turning on xmp and game boost, the same error remains. Any solutions?
your pc became unstable following the bios update, causing crashes and forcing a restart with a default configuration. you can turn on xmp to restore ram speed—adjust the cpu multiplier thoughtfully to achieve stability.

Fixed! As zx128k mentioned, it was a rookie error. The BIOS used default settings, so I moved my SSD with Windows to boot option 3, turned everything back on, and now all the stats are correct. Thanks a lot.
