I was attempting to resolve a system task consuming excessive CPU by enabling selective startup. Now I’m unable to log in as admin to turn it off, since the Windows Hello pin or fingerprint isn’t functioning. The only available sign-in options are for an admin account. I can still connect with a non-admin account and run admin CMD via the recovery environment using a password. Is there a command to disable selective startup through the command prompt? Are there other methods to address this issue? Note: After entering the admin account PIN, it triggers Windows error code 0x8007139f. I’m unable to reset it because internet access is blocked.

Hi, I noticed your post on another site using the same username. I searched around and found two links I thought might help. You can try them out even if they don’t work. First link: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294...ml#option6 (go to option 6 on the page). Second link: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2969...ml#option5 (scroll to option 5). It might be useful to capture screenshots of the steps when you start advanced startup.

Remove all pins completely. Then assign a fresh configuration. (Same setup possible if desired)
