Hi,
I need an app that can make a photo transparent for use in a game. I tried Glass2k but it had many issues and wasn't working well.
Please let me know if this sounds confusing.

According to the provided information, Glass 2k is described as "ancient". Other methods and resources are also available for achieving transparency.

Side step: Not so old, as indicated by the latest release dated May 10, 2022 version 0.9.2.
Nevertheless - there appears to be a discrepancy between what the OP aims to accomplish and the intended function of the software:
And also it mentions:
Perhaps this could classify the program as outdated?
So in short, I’m not clear on the OP’s goal. To be clear, you’d need graphic tools like Gimp (moderately advanced but manageable), but if the requirement is strictly 2D, then the only feasible path seems to be a major effort in mastering 3D and software overlay techniques using something such as Blender 3D.

Of course.
I've been observing this, but I don't really understand what's being asked.
How can we make it more transparent?
