Transmit data wirelessly via USB
Transmit data wirelessly via USB
Hi, your hybrid solar inverter only has a male USB connector for monitoring. Since you're on the second floor and on the first floor, you can use a USB-to-serial adapter or a USB-to-computer converter to send the data to your laptop. Alternatively, check if your inverter supports Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for remote access.
Here are some alternatives to the link:

They need setups on both sides; mine is only a USB port from the inverter showing live monitor updates, not a shared drive or another computer. Appreciate it!
I prefer wireless transmitters and receivers for USB data in a point-to-point setup—it seems stable and meets my needs. I hope someone has experience with this, as my inverter CD developed a driver for the USB port that the solar monitor software can use. I noticed the commercial version, but I’m unsure about the data format. Thanks!
