You're asking about the best approach to upgrade from W7 to W10 on a brand-new system. It's a common concern, especially since your SSD requires driver installation during W7 and W10 supports it natively. The general advice is to install W7 first, then upgrade to W10. This ensures compatibility and avoids potential issues. Your question is valid—many people wonder about this path for the first time with a completely new build.

You already upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, so your key should function with a fresh Windows 10 setup. If not, avoid using the NVMe SSD only during installation and upgrading—consider a separate clean Windows 10 install with your SSD.

Set up Windows 7 completely. Apply all updates, then upgrade to Windows 10. After activation, you can either continue with drivers and software (the installation looks clean now) or perform a fresh install of Windows 10. Once activated, Windows 10 should automatically activate again when you reinstall on the same system.

They're asking if you want to upgrade your existing setup and move your W10 data to the updated system after activation.

You can set up Windows 7 and then perform an in-place upgrade to Windows 10 (this converts your current Windows 7 license into a Windows 10 one).... Once completed, clean your disks to remove any Windows 10 presence and reinstall only Windows 10, which will immediately recognize your new key.

Begin by installing W7 on your new setup, proceed with the upgrade, and finish with a clean installation. Appreciate your guidance.
