I recently discovered certain features exclusive to Windows 10 Pro. I plan to upgrade my PC from Windows 10 Home to Pro. If I obtain a 10 Pro key and update my product key accordingly, will my system automatically switch to Pro? I prefer not to perform a full installation; I just want to gain the Pro benefits without replacing everything.

Consider using your outdated 7 or 8 Pro laptop. Those Pro keys remain valuable for upgrading to a home-to-pro setup.
