Did I squander my budget? I understand it’s not a massive jump, but I believe it will add a bit more flexibility to my 6800xt. Also, I intend to skip the am5 entirely—this was the reason I made the change. Please let me know if this decision felt foolish for $200. The specs are listed on my profile, with the new CPU and Peerless Assassin cooler both costing $200 together.

The alternative path would have been more suitable. It seems your setup at 1080p wouldn't provide any advantage over higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K.

Ill see what it does and return it if im not seeing much benefit. The 5700x3d would be another $130 so i figured the higher boost clocking of the XT would help. Appreciate you keeping my expectations in check though!

It seems like you're questioning whether the 9070 xt offers better value compared to your current 5600. You're also curious about whether the performance gains from upgrading to a 6800xt are worth the extra cost, especially if you're already running a 6800. It looks like you're trying to decide between overthinking bottlenecks versus seeking a better deal.

RX6800, RX6800XT, RX6900XT and RX6950XT offer top value used GPUs today. Great performance at a reasonable cost. 9070XT is still being announced until March, with a release date later—priced low for a while before availability.
