Upgrading soon from my present configuration, seeking the optimal match for my 2080 Super. Currently running at 1080p 144Hz, aiming to transition to 1440p 144Hz in the near future. Present setup includes an i7 4790k @ 3.9GHz, Asus MAXIMU S VII RANGER MoB Gigabyte 2080 Super OC Gaming with 8GB DDR3 at 1600MHz, powered by a 750W PSU and Corsair 3700X. Unsure about the best motherboard and RAM options!

3700x compatible with MSI B450 Mortar Max or a solid X570 motherboard (excluding MSI models)

The AMD Ryzen 7 3700X is priced at $294.14 for a 3.6 GHz 8-core processor, while the Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS with Wi-Fi costs $189.99. Memory options include G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB at $83.99. Prices on Newegg, Best Buy, and Amazon include shipping and taxes. Overall, the total comes to $568.12. Even a 3600 MHz would suffice for gaming now, but future titles may benefit more from the upcoming next-gen consoles.
