You recently added an SSD and are looking to transfer just Windows 10 to it. While Macrium Reflect is a popular option, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all guide for moving only that OS. You may need to use tools like DiskPart, GParted, or third-party utilities to select and migrate just Windows 10, ensuring other data stays intact. Check official documentation or community forums for step-by-step instructions tailored to your setup.

Only specific files are involved. That approach isn't standard. You may create a full partition or leave it empty.

You can move an entire partition or an entire drive. If you have a partition containing an operating system and files that exceed the SSD's capacity, you might remove unnecessary data and reduce the partition size.

Using Macrium Reflect doesn't require reducing the file size; just ensure the files are under the new drive's capacity.

In that scenario, it's even more effective—simply remove a few files (and make sure to back them up elsewhere) before moving forward.
