I'm replacing all parts except the GPU and storage. I'll reset Windows before the upgrade. From what I understand, it should boot again after resetting, giving a clean start. You can take apart the PC and rebuild it with the new components as usual, then launch Windows and enjoy your setup.
Just reinstall it—don’t do a factory reset, as that’s unlikely to help or cause problems.
Can you confirm how to verify it? The new motherboard I plan to use is the H470 chipset.
