Consider a replacement M.2 SSD for your PC. Your motherboard has two slots—one currently used as the boot drive in slot 1, which uses PCIe 4 but is actually a PCIe3 device. If you install a new SSD with PCIe 4, you can relocate the existing boot drive to the second slot (PCIe3 only) and place the new drive there for gaming. The Asus Prime B550M-K supports this setup.

Ensure the boot order updates in the BIOS settings to reflect the new priority.
