I own a PC that is seven years old. It is a crucial machine and we are planning to switch to a newer model with W11. The older PC is still functioning well, so there are no immediate issues there. We tend to upgrade our PCs every five years, but we have fallen behind. This one is used for our office and contains many important files. It has three separate locations where data is stored, which should not be an issue.

I am seeking guidance on the quickest and simplest method to transfer all information from the old PC to the new one. I have had positive experiences with PCs in the past, so I would appreciate some advice.

The previous PC with W10 has two drives—one for the operating system and another for storage. The new PC also has two drives, each containing OS and storage.

Could you help me determine the best approach to move everything from one system to the other? Thank you.

It relies on the volume of data you wish to transfer from the previous system to the new PC. Are we considering a small amount like 100Gbs or a larger quantity such as 8Tbs?

Link both computers to identical local networks using the same Ethernet switch. Exchange required directories on one machine and retrieve files from the other, transferring information as needed.

The very first thing to protect is your information. Everything else comes second. If Windows 11 becomes a completely different platform, then simply transferring your data is what you must do. You can either use a sneaker network via flash drives or connect to the same LAN and shared folders.

All the information is secured. I understand I might need to reinstall everything (it's not ideal), but that's the current situation.

Without viewing the video, which app is this? And by the way, every app I’ve encountered claiming this doesn’t actually perform it as expected.
