Hello, I need to transfer files from my Windows PC to my sister's MacBook Pro (2015). I managed to share files between Windows machines without using network passwords by disabling password protection in the control panel. But on the Mac, it still prompts for network credentials. I've created a new user in the User Credential Manager and set up a sharing-only account on the MacBook, but it hasn't worked. Later, I tried sharing from the Mac to the PC, which succeeded without any network details. I don’t need any credentials at all—I can read and write files normally. I’m unsure how to access the shared files on the PC without using network access, or if I should know the network login details. I have a static IP on the PC, and in the earlier screenshot you mentioned using "guest mode" in the network settings. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
