Your M.2 SSD is nearly full, just program files and Windows. You might be able to upgrade to a 500GB M.2 SSD, but make sure it fits your system. Transferring everything—including Windows—from the old drive to the new one can be done via a backup tool or by using a live USB setup.

I started from the HDD, created an old M.2 backup, then installed a new M.2 and set up the backup there. The software functioned perfectly: https://www.veeam.com/windows-endpoint-s...-free.html

You can link both disks using the system download tool, then clone your setup to the new drive. Easy.

Wait, what? You really don’t want me to just transfer the files to another drive and let Windows handle it?

Emm, due to the limited number of M.2 NVMe and SATA drives on PCs, upgrading from 960 Evo 250GB to 970 Pro 1TB required starting with an HDD, backing up the older drive with Veeam Agent, swapping in the new drives, restarting from HDD, and then deploying the backup using Veeam Agent.

If you're not using a laptop but a standard desktop, just leave everything in place and simply install the second SSD. This will free up more space. Transfer files such as music, movies, or your user profile to the new drive and keep operating normally.
