You're not limited to just 30mbps download speeds. Your connection offers 912mbps, and it seems another provider provides symmetrical links while yours is restricted to 1000/30.

If the upload isn't similar to 1kpbs and the ping stays steady and low, it's good for gaming.

Generally, using contemporary tech like fiber optics provides balanced links. Traditional copper systems (ADSL, VDSL) tend to be one-way, mainly because users mostly downloaded content. Still, 20-30 Mbps works well for gaming. I have a 60 down/10 up setup and it’s acceptable.
