I'm running Windows 10. I received the activation key from the control panel a while ago (around May) after I replaced my PC's motherboard, CPU, and GPU, which disabled Windows. The key was included in the packaging (it worked for Windows 7, but I had upgraded so it remained functional) and was stored in the control panel.

Your personal key and ID don't match. Did you receive the PC prebuilt?
