a partition refers to how much space a "drive" occupies on a storage device. therefore, a 2tb hard drive could be divided into two smaller drives, possibly with additional areas. it is now quite challenging for people to reduce the size of these partitions, so if you lack sufficient space on an ssd, it might be best to reinstall windows.

You can clone your 105GB data from the current C Drive partition onto a 512GB SSD. After cloning, enter BIOS setup, choose the new SSD as the primary drive, and you should be able to boot from it immediately.

Your drive contains both used and empty areas together. It’s more complex than just adding an SSD. Searching for instructions on cloning your OS should help, I hope it works.
