You can move your Windows 10 from the 120GB SSD to the new 480GB SSD. It’s definitely possible. Let me know if you need help with the process. Thanks for reading!

Yes when you clone the whole drive. No when you're just copying Windows.

It seems like most people who ask this have already looked it up—only a few have posted before. The forum feels more like a help channel now.

The partition wizard shows an image when you select migrate OS. Copying partitions creates two identical drives (C: and ESmile. After this process, do you need to remove the old drive?

Ensure a fresh setup to avoid ongoing window issues later.

Initially the system will start properly. It’s simpler to verify than to inquire. Why would you upgrade from an SSD to another SSD? Keeping the system running on a smaller drive while using a larger one for important files, games, and certain applications can be beneficial.

I’ll proceed with that. It seems the 'clone' file isn’t showing up as a bootable option.

For a high-quality clone, use Macrium Reflect bootable USB. Cloning takes more than just a fresh install at first, but it succeeds with the right tools. If your 120GB SSD is reliable or recent, simply swap it in, transfer files to the new drive, and run both—this speeds up loading since the system uses one SSD while the other holds games and apps.

I'm planning to reinstall Windows again. I've faced numerous issues with multiple copies of the system over time. The user mentioned using the smaller SSD for their laptop, as noted in the initial message.
