Hey everyone, I need to move my movie files from C:\Media into the root folder at C:\Media. A batch script or a CMD command might work well for this.

Avoid complicated terms—just type *.* to show all files. Choose everything, trim it, then move it to C:\Media and paste.

Open both folders simultaneously, then move items from search results directly to their final location. If the drive matches, it transfers data rather than creating copies.

This method also works across partitions or drives; just drag instead of left to decide whether to relocate or accept the default.
