Sign up for a Windows PC account to enable file sharing. Set up a location on the PC where everyone can view the share, but restrict folder access so only you and the sharing account can modify it. On the Linux machine, connect to the Windows PC’s share and enter credentials using the sharing account when prompted.

Rsync performed smoothly on Linux, though it can be tricky on Windows. Have you tried alternative methods or tools? You’ve already installed it through cwin—let me know if you need further help.

Uses via WSL. These guidelines are meant for a Linux server setup, so you may need to adjust them for your environment.
