Please make sure everyone sees this when they first boot up! This applies to my new Lenovo P14S AMD Thinkpad running the Ryzen 7 Pro 8840HS with 64GB of SoDimm DDR5 5600MT/S RAM.

On about eight desktop AM5 builds I've created, featuring an Asrock Deskmini with SODIMMs, the first boot takes 45 to 60 seconds showing a solid black screen. Noted the variation occurs between laptops.

I waited a long time before sharing my recent am5 build with a 9900x on an MSI board after memory training. The screen appeared during a BIOS update from Lenovo Thinkpad Commercial Vantage. I understand I should wait longer for am5 to go live, but it’s hard not to miss the days of DDR4 simplicity.
