Tracking sound output via speakers
I've set up my PC with a Scarlett 2i2 and Arena 3 speakers, and a PS5 connected via a monitor and 3.5mm jack all sharing the same power outlet. No matter how I connect the cables, interference appears. Removing the DP cable from the PC seems to reduce the noise. Is there a solution without changing the switch?
It seems there might be a connection problem. A Grounding Loop Isolator should resolve it. These are the ones I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XQY...UTF8&psc=1
Thanks for the update. It appears the ground loop might be the cause. I looked it up online, tried a few other solutions before purchasing the isolators. Adjusting the plug sequence, swapping the 3.5 port on the display, and turning off all dp out audio on the computer helped significantly. Now the noise is very low—only audible right next to the speakers.
