My difficulties arise when starting my PC and switching on my monitor after a longer idle time. My display is an Asus TUF VG279QM with 280hz overclocking. System details include: 13700k MSI Z790-P, updated firmware, Silicon power supply, DDR5 RAM from Gigabyte, 2070 Super MSI graphics card, 850W 80+ Gold PSU. I recently swapped the display port cable, but the problem remains unchanged. I plan to retry using the original cable, though I can't test until the system and monitor are completely off for an extended period. This change is frustrating, especially since others have faced similar issues with different cables. If anyone knows what might be causing this, your advice would be invaluable. I'll update the post after replacing the DP cable again. Edit: After swapping the DP cable, the issue still occurs.

Initially, the first action is eliminating the component responsible for pushing the hardware beyond its limits.
