Some tools exist for this, such as Display Fusion and DPI Aware. They might help resolve your problem.

Thank you, I'll check if I missed a clear window-based approach.

Windows adjusts the mouse movement smoothly across the screens based on the display settings. It's likely that screens with intentional spacing will feel less responsive when moving the mouse.

It functions just like expected when the display dimensions are locked to the resolution, and it performs well regardless of screen placement. That’s not ideal. However, since Windows understands both the screen size and its resolution, I wondered if there might be a setting to adapt the relative sizing used in the Windows tool, or if adjusting the screen size would resolve the issue.

Windows would never think about the screen size in real life, or mouse movement wouldn't work properly. The system assumes users have correctly sized, high-resolution screens to make edges match. What actually happens outside the software is a physical issue, not a software one. For all practical purposes, how monitors are set up in the program determines how it behaves.

Alright, I'll need to swap them out for fresh screens at the same resolution. Thanks.
