TPM Issue
TPM Issue
Hi all, I have a decade old MBO GA-Z68AP-D3 Ver 2.0. To its TPM header, I have inserted a Gigabyte compliant TPM 2.0, but I cannot get the BIOS to identify that there is a module affixed to the board. The module displays a green light and I see it in Windows 10 security Devices as a hidden item. The module is ...TPM 1.2 Security Module Board TPM1.2 LPC 20 Pin Motherboards Card for ASUS MSI ASROCK GIGABYTE. On Gigabyte instruction I have updated the BIOS to UA10 (before it was UA9). This made no difference. The is no Advanced setting or any further settings on the peripherals tab. There is no separate security tab. Is there anyone who have managed to overcome this issue? I have tried other online websites and so far, it remains to be an issue. Whilst I like the challenge, this might be an impossibility! Thanks.
Hello! I'm facing the same issue—my GA-Z68AP-D3 rev2.0 board has the UA10 BIOS, but I'm unsure if adding a TPM1.2 or enabling Secure Boot is possible without buying a module. Have you had success setting it up before?
