Right now I’m not in a position to create a new system or invest in a solid gaming setup. I own an Asus Maximus VIII Hero MB, which includes a TPM 14-1 connector. I managed to locate a Model TPM-M R2.0 14-1 PIN for sale. Most of my current configuration should be able to support Windows 11. If you buy this component, it should meet the TPM requirements for Windows 11. I just want to avoid unnecessary complications and make sure it works without extra hassle.

It seems you're confirming compatibility after installation. The process should work as expected.

At most, I spent $40. Appreciate the assistance and feedback.

He was acting like a smart idiot. You definitely need that TPM module for your motherboard. You didn’t spend any money.

Based on the processor you're using. A TPM might not matter here. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...processors

I recently had the chance to test it out. I successfully installed the beta version from Microsoft today. Overall, it has been quite stable. It needed two downloads and installations. The first attempt caused a system crash and a reset. The second install was smooth. My i7-7700k isn’t compatible either. The main problem seems to be with my Nvidia 1060 6GB card—really hoping I can find a better one soon. I adjusted the settings a bit and managed to play games without too much trouble. In the worst case, if this doesn’t work out, I might need to upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and an ASUS ROG Strix B550-F for Windows 11. Thanks for your feedback.
