I'm not sure if the B450M motherboard from ASRock comes with the TPM built in. You might need a USB TPM 2.0 to install it, as some users have shared tutorials online.

TPM should be active by default on Ryzen processors. Make sure you adjust your BIOS settings. There are several ways to verify TPM status: first, confirm the correct drivers are installed via Device Manager and check the Security tab. Alternatively, run 'tpm.msc' in a command prompt window to see if it reports readiness. If the output doesn't indicate TPM is ready, it probably isn't enabled in your BIOS.

Sure, you should turn it on in the BIOS. It’s usually easy to spot once you check. I’m not sure if you remember, but it’s been there before.

Navigate to Advanced settings, then locate the AMD fTPM switch at the bottom and change its status from disabled to enabled.

I also tried this myself to make it work for her, since I hadn’t done it before. It gave me a reason to update her to Windows 11!
