The desired option is the initial one. The alternative version is passive and incompatible with the U6 Plus AP that uses standard PoE 802.3af/at.

Bear in mind that AP only has a Gigabit port, so its not capable of the full speed WiFi 6 can do (at least not to the wired network). Worth noting there's a reasonable chance those Gigabit PoE injectors will unofficially handle 2.5Gbit, I know my TL-POE10R Gigabit PoE to 12v splitters do.
