Toxicity in games
the worst game moment was in R6 a few days back. it was a casual match when someone got voted out unexpectedly. I voted against it, and then a teammate on my team messaged me saying I should report them because I started the vote, even though I didn’t. it was pretty awkward. anyone else have similar stories?
I was called out for cheating after a Tracer run and again after shooting a soldier with Tracer. In Overwatch, people often think that since Tracer is controversial, using her skillfully can lead to accusations of cheating—whether it's playing smart or aiming and blinking quickly enough to hit before they spot you.
Occasionally moving quickly can make others believe you're being dishonest, which is frustrating.
I have quick reactions. I can aim, shoot, and hit targets before opponents even lock on to me. I play on US servers from Europe, which keeps the latency at 120ms.
That's quite fast! It usually means you're connected to a low-latency network, which helps with real-time gameplay.
I just... play. LMAO. I always feel that ping, so I try to make up for it. When I wait behind a wall and see someone approaching from behind, I aim where their head will be and press the button just before they show up. Instant headshot. I didn’t realize these tricks until now; I thought about it and realized it just came naturally. I’m around level 323 in Overwatch, and about 70% of my playtime is on US servers.
That's really impressive. I think it's amazing what they can achieve. Probably they've got some serious skills.
When I play games, I tend to fall into a rhythm. I often sit for long periods without noticing the passage of time. I usually begin around 10 PM and keep playing until 3 AM... I’m not a professional, that’s for sure. I reached silver once, but now I only face teammates who aren’t great and consistently lose in competitions, so I stopped trying. Yes, I take the blame on the game—playing for hours without winning most matches but earning four gold medals as Tracer is frustrating because it doesn’t reward effort. Now I just play casually.
