Hey Ubisoft, I really dislike you. I’m planning to steal every game you release again. You’re ridiculous—so glad I didn’t have to pay you. Also, it’s disappointing that you might finally release some quality multiplayer content soon.

People's stupidity has no limits. Take a look at this. http://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/com..._its_time/ The template is filled with inaccuracies and straight out ridiculousness. Yeah, cause it's customary for every game to come out on Linux. We still haven't gotten to the bottom of this. AMD are making accusations while Nvidia are denying everything. It's a game of "he said, she said". You cannot chose sides in a formal letter, especially when there isn't any evidence for the claims AMD is making. If anything, Watch Dogs is running better on the 290/290X vs the 780/780 Ti because of the larger memory buffer. I'm not saying one or the other is right. I'm just saying that you need to keep an objective evidence based viewpoint where you don't jump to conclusions based on emotion. Well, that's a load of crap. The textures look perfectly fine. There is absolutely no logic in this. Publishers make more money out of PC copies than they do out of console copies due to the licensing involved in the console business. It would be beneficial for publishers to encourage PC sales for that reason. TotalBiscuit already went over this. This is nothing more than a bonkers conspiracy theory. Or at least it's extremely unlikely. I say it's just plain incompetence on their part.

It seemed more likely there was malice involved rather than incompetence. I might have been sidetracked while listening.

It seems Ubisoft might be disinterested in the Pirates franchise, possibly due to piracy concerns, leading them to take action. This could very well be the motivation behind their decision.
