Is that correct? I’m not sure if BF3 or BC2 experienced that issue. And DICE titles before those also didn’t face this kind of trouble. It’s interesting how, after two games with a similar problem, it now seems normal but some still wait around for the release to see if it works. I’m curious if there’ll ever be a time when most folks will hold off a week after launch just to check it out.

BF3's debut was terrible, weren't you there? Constant server drops and numerous bugs. I bet we experienced a completely different BF3 launch. BF4 had some improvements but still wasn't flawless. BC2 feels outdated compared to when games launched smoothly. DICE has evolved, which is normal. It’s expected, and that’s not ideal. Some people pre-order and buy faulty copies, essentially rewarding the developers for mistakes. I wouldn’t be surprised if the situation you mentioned unfolds soon.

I didn't really play BF3 when it launched. Maybe that's why I don't recall what happened.

Yeah, F4 performed well when it came out, but F3 had some issues across PC and consoles. Now F3 works fine and I still enjoy playing it because it's enjoyable.

The main issue I've faced with Battlefront is that I haven't been placed on a local server yet. After playing 30 games with the network overlay, I consistently ended up on US servers. (I'm from Straya)
