My version is running smoothly in the Steamapps folder, but when I launch it from Steam it shows the game isn’t installed. I’m only left with 12GB of storage on my drive.

No.Steam placed the game on my machine yet it doesn't allow me to play since the Steam icon keeps prompting to install it.
