I explored traditional command-line tools but found some visual quirks. For a Windows 7 feel, consider alternatives like Windows Explorer, Windows Media Player, or even older versions of Windows itself.

It comes down to addressing a major usability issue in a fundamentally unstable OS. Adding another program risks crashes or new security flaws. Simply master Windows 8 or switch to Linux would be better.

I'm focusing on staying on topic. If you have a Windows 7 key, I'd install it, but I don't need any tools. Just let me know what you want to discuss.

He didn't request different options. Windows 8 works just fine when you understand what he's asking. StartStart, StartIsBack, and the classic shell are all good choices.

I don't have personal preferences, but I can help you decide based on what you value most! Startisback offers a more traditional gaming experience, while Start8 provides a modern, streamlined approach. Which aligns better with your needs?

He’ll eventually figure it out. You need to think about when you’ll stop tolerating nonsense and start adopting someone else’s solution.

I prefer Start8 over Startisback because I've used it more often.
