I'm just beginning to explore this game—still mostly adjusting the settings. After testing nearly every possible configuration, I'm curious about the most common playstyle. Of course, many people expect unlocked framerates and no Vsync, but I'm also interested in other viable options. Thanks for checking the poll!

It varies based on your goals. For competitive play, stick to the simplest options—low resolution, high refresh rate, and no VSync. This maximizes performance and helps you see enemies clearly without hiding in foliage. I usually aim for around 120 FPS on average and cap at 160, since my display supports 165Hz with FreeSync enabled.

oh there's a FOV setting - I haven't even seen that lol... it's probably on max tho, another thing to check... Right I did notice it actually feels more responsive with unlocked framerate, it's just I have a 60hz monitor and there's quite some screen tearing - however it's not really as bad as I'd have expected, it's not really distracting weirdly. The last setting I tried just now was lock it at 120 which is double my refresh rate, so there was basically almost no tearing and it felt really smooth - altho not as 'responsive' and I'm playing at high / ultra 1440p, so that's yet another thing I have to try, makes sense with the grass... I do like the higher resolution a lot though, I guess it obviously makes things easier to see. well I'm getting a new monitor (165hz) soon ,so I guess I'll try a similar setting than yours when I got it!
