I’ve finally gotten my husband to let me set up a computer in our living room linked to a new TV. Now I just need to reassure him it wasn’t a mistake. To do that, I want to make sure he’s not just watching me cause trouble as he moves around. I’m looking for suggestions on the most stunning and visually engaging games. I picked up a copy of *Dear Esther* after reading an article, but now I’m seeking your ideas.
Dead Redemption and Hogwarts Legacy offer impressive visuals. Skyrim with modifications can also appear stunning.
Discover Dead Redemption, Witcher 3 with the latest update; Atomic heart delivers some explosive action while impressing visually. Metro Exodus and The Last Of Us Part 1 Remake are set to launch on PC in late March—a truly remarkable title. Horizon Zero Dawn is also highly recommended.
The visual style in Abzu really appeals to me; I've played it twice just to explore the settings again. Checking gameplay videos can help you decide if it matches your tastes or your partner's. Another title I love is Control, but it includes more combat and destruction, which might not fit your preference.
Vanilla/Non-modded: Ori and the Will of the Wisp Returns as the Forest Kingdom’s Sons Deliverance Ride 4 on the Isle of Man in a first-person perspective with light rain. MotoGP, Forza Horizon 5, Need for Speed 2015, Red Dead Redemption 2, and AC: Valhalla are available.
I recently moved to a 4K OLED as a primary display and most of the breathtaking options have been listed already but I'll add: Returnal Dead Space 2023 Remake And this one blew me away.. Kena: Bridge of Spirits HDR is something else now that I'm able to do it right.
It would be nice if it weren’t so distorted by that vision issue. Back then, they certainly didn’t offer LASIK treatments.
I really enjoy HDR in Overwatch—it's so intense you almost can't see anything even with sunlight, 10/10 would come back. I also liked Fatal Frame 5 visually; it has a very sleek design and beautiful settings. The gameplay feels like a pure 90s/early 2000s survival horror experience. It's not for everyone, but that's what makes it stand out—creepy atmosphere and your only tool is a camera obscura.
