Top Video Game Guide – Get the Most Value Fast
Sauron both of you have shown it’s clear Evolve isn’t the kind of game you enjoy, and I can’t grasp that. I’ll let it go, though I feel pressured to speak even if it risks permanent removal. How do you view the angryjoes review of Evolve? If you had any insight into the title, you’d see he was completely lacking and would have stopped fighting the monster quickly. The only recent review from Joe that I respect is for Destiny.
Wait, that’s my take and others might differ. Pretend I didn’t say anything. Quickly, I know @brownninja97 didn’t like my video post. Is this forum just about PC tech? If yes, I apologize and you can ban me for advertising. I’m unsure if there’s another way to warn someone about a game they might not know, but if so, let me know before I get banned so I can remember it. Lol, a lot of questions while you’re here.
@Sauron I noticed you mention GPU knowledge—if you were designing a new desktop for 4K gaming and video editing, would you build it now or wait for Pascal/ArcTic Island dx12 support?
It's not about having your own view, it's about not valuing others' opinions. I don't enjoy monster games, do you? You should understand that no game suits everyone and you can't force people to accept everything you say completely—if they won't, then it's okay to step back. You seem to treat Evolve like a parent figure, but it's just a game like any other. Anyone who disagrees is probably just being silly.
I see. You want to link the video and skip any further explanation. Or you're free this weekend and prefer to decide later? If someone hadn't mentioned Star Wars: The Old Republic, I wouldn't have played it—I'd have never started, thankfully they explained it first. I've found that having a bit of context really helps, and I've apologized for any confusion caused by my approach.
From what I observed, this game didn’t last even a month after release. Players stopped playing it. I don’t understand why, but according to what I heard, it happened. To be truthful, I also intended to purchase this title, but for a game like this—lacking a deep storyline—it wouldn’t endure much time unless it offers solid performance and enjoyable gameplay, similar to Dota 2 and CS:GO. I was really lucky not to buy it. Another example is Titanfall; it started promisingly but eventually faded away.
I purchase when required. Patience isn't always ideal, yet enjoying a 4K experience is feasible with a monitor under $2000 at the moment. It hinges on your immediate needs and whether you're okay with dual-GPU configurations.
I'm not sure, but there are still people enjoying Titanfall. I play it regularly on Xbox, which has a smaller player base than Steam, and I easily find matches. It's comparable to games like Skyrim, Fallout, and Mass Effect in my opinion (though you didn't mention that, I jumped in for fun).
Don't worry, this won't lead to any bans. I've done some questionable things just to get a warning, but I remember when I had more influence here. The real issue was reading the OP and others seemed to think I was trying to pressure the game. I respect your view, but I don’t like being forced. A better approach would be sharing my genuine interest in the game—would anyone else enjoy it? Check out this video for a lighthearted take and some friendly vibes. The community here is special, so it makes sense that I need time to get used to it. Conflicting opinions are normal, and you’re unlikely to find someone who doesn’t have a different perspective.
It would be too much to expect such a setup from you. You’d need something like a $2k desktop and monitor with solid performance, which is rare unless you’re shopping online. Getting that kind of gear would likely require help from someone familiar with the process.
It's totally normal to feel overwhelmed by all the changes in tech. I was hoping to find support here, especially since Linustech videos helped me get started. I came across a game I really enjoy and thought it would be fun for PC players to experience it at 4K resolution. Everyone loves Godzilla and King Kong, but when it comes to playing as characters who harm people, some prefer Call of Duty beta instead.
Hhmm.. "there's still people" means no good to me. Especially for a guy like me that doesn't have much time to play online games anymore. I prefer a game that have a very good single player storyline such as witcher or the upcoming MGSV which i've been waiting for a long long time. And even if i want to play online game, i prefer a game that massively hyped such as dota2 so i can get the best experience on playing and sharing it. Yeeaa.. Maybe u understand what i mean
