Hi there! For casual video creation or game montages, I’d suggest exploring newer options like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Both offer professional features while being user-friendly. If you're open to alternatives, Vegas Pro 13 is still solid but consider upgrading to the latest version for better tools and performance. Let me know if you'd like more details!

I've been using Vegas Pro for a while now and I wouldn't change it for anything else. At first I wasn't impressed because I didn't grasp it well. But now I just don't want to use anything else. So, if you were me, I'd try Sony Vegas Pro 13.

I’m looking for additional perspectives before making my choice. After considering it, I’ll go with Vegas 13.

Sony Vegas is designed for the type of editing you perform; familiarize yourself with the software and you'll understand everything clearly

I’d probably have said that too, but I use Adobe Premiere, both are excellent tools, and once you get used to how they function for you, it’s a matter of preference.

Why alter? Check out YouTube for some guides—Vegas Pro is ideal for your needs. I’m quite familiar with the software and still learn something new from time to time. I’d stick with this option. I’ve used Adobe Premiere Pro before, but it felt a bit tricky compared to Vegas Pro.

Hey everyone! I’ve chosen to remain in Vegas. I won’t give the top answer to anyone since I have plenty of strong ones. Thanks to @Geekazoid, @SkilledRebuilds, and @Iyvk!
