I've begun learning video editing recently and took a pause. I'm unsure which program works best for quick results. I've mastered Sony Vegas 12 and created some short clips, but it doesn't support my 7970 CF model. The rendering times are frustrating—often needing multiple passes until finished. Should I consider alternatives like Sony Vegas 13, Camtasia, or Adobe Premiere?
Adobe Premiere is often seen as one of the top video editing tools. Still, it comes with a high price tag. My dad got it for me at work, which made it affordable, and I really enjoy using it, though it does have a steep learning curve.
Premier is widely regarded as a common practice in the field. My training focuses solely on Adobe tools. While Vegas might be straightforward, it’s not the only option available.
Price, lol. "Cheap software" is terrible! If only there was a way to obtain them at no cost? Ugh, it's against the law.
Working with premiere feels amazing once you master it. Paired with after effects, it becomes incredibly effective.
