Looking for fun with old OSes? Someone mentioned VMware, but what’s the top VBox?

I tried different options, but Vmware functioned instantly while VirtualBox didn't work properly.

Virtualbox and VMware are both good choices. They’re quite similar for most tasks nowadays, though some features might suit one over the other. I tend to prefer Virtualbox, but many people like VMware. EDIT: if you’re eager to explore top-tier virtualization performance, consider bare-metal options such as KVM, Xen, VMware ESXi, and Hyper-V. Do you want to purchase VMware? If not, I can go with VirtualBox. Or perhaps you didn’t realize VMware isn’t free software?
