Mario Kart Wii. Great vehicles, cool characters, decent online (not official online now, but with mods), SURPRISINGLY large modding community. Overall fun game and probably one of my favorites

Star Wars Galaxies had some rough net code but compensated with an incredibly role-play focused experience. Housing options were extensive, offering the most customization in any game, with numerous engaging quests that felt quite compelling. Ship battles and ship design were prominent, allowing players to style their vessels much like their homes. Unfortunately, the game was discontinued because SOE couldn't handle advertising or game operations.
