I mostly don’t play those games except CS:GO, and I’ve noticed the community has become quite problematic.

Toxic? Buy Minecraft => Visit kohi.us => Sign in to Factions => Be shocked CSGO is awful too. I keep attracting more trolls playing alone, which really slows my progress. I lead the most fragile group in a 5-player match, but soloing often drops me to KD. Most players are either rankers or trolls. The main issue here is the low cost. For about one-third of what you pay for other games, you can get an already ranked account to smurf or troll.

Competitive scenes can be really harmful, the only parts online that aren’t completely toxic are GTA V, where a few players act out of character for amusement, and there’s a passive mode to sidestep those interactions.

World of Tanks can feel quite harsh. The experience varies based on your WN8 level, which reflects your skill. A lower rating means you're starting with tougher challenges, while a higher rating gives you an edge.

I was in CS:GO when two kids got into a fight because their names looked alike. What the heck?

You only get a reroll when you have few games yet but a strong WN8. All purples are harmful because they believe they're superior. Some Reddit clans are friendly, but interacting with clan war or stronghold-focused groups makes them very toxic. The RDDTX clan was excellent—everyone was kind and removed if you were toxic.

It seems like the phrase "toxic" has lost its impact lately... I don’t really care about it now. What’s going to happen next? Are they going to say something serious? Honestly, I think many adults and teens should stick to the lessons we teach kids. But truthfully, I’ve noticed that as long as you excel at the game, you won’t face much hostility. You might still get it from someone else, but you can win back their trust. Knowing the opposing side has flaws makes victory more rewarding. If you do face criticism from teammates, it could be because of your own mistakes. Maybe you should reflect on your performance and work on improving. Even if you keep getting some negative comments, consistent growth will likely reduce them over time. Playing as a tank or healer in MMOs for years makes you very resilient. That’s usually where you’ll encounter the most negativity. If you’re more sensitive, maybe avoid those types of games. For better results, try playing locally with friends—organize a LAN party instead.

Toxic refers to the entire community being awful, which affects everyone involved and damages the enjoyment of online interactions.

League and CSGO (matchmaking) aren't great. For CSGO, it's better to join community servers where the players are friendly.
