Your new PC comes with Windows 11, but it doesn’t show the task bar at the top. It seems you need third-party tools. Searching for reliable programs online is risky—many sites host malware. Stick to trusted sources and avoid suspicious links. Be cautious of any free software that asks for personal data or logs your activity.

1. Start Regedit via Run (Windows + R) or search for it. Confirm when prompted.
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3.
3. Open the Settings option.
4. Modify the fifth value in the second row from "03" to "01." Remove "03" and type "01". Click OK.
5. For multiple monitors, adjust the same registry values to 01 for all keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MMStuckRects3. This applies only if you have multiple displays.
6. Close Regedit.
7. Open Command Prompt with admin privileges.
8. Terminate and restart explorer.exe using taskkill /f /im explorer.exe then Enter.

Excellent. With your help I'll try the startback, and if it fails I'll revert to regedit. Sounds good.
