I've got a Ryzen 5 5600+ MSI B350M bazooka with 16GB RAM at 2400MHz. I've tried PBO curve optimizer at -30 for all cores and am looking for further tips to fine-tune my setup.

upgrading to 3600Mhz ram made a huge difference for the 5000 series cpus, especially noticeable when switching from 2400 to 3600.

the thaiphoon burner should handle at least 3200, preferably 3800, which is the max most chips can manage in real-time. just locate an oc profile for your ram chip, copy it, and tweak a bit if needed. i’m switching to am4, but i think i’ll get a 5500 first before buying a 3100. it’ll take some time before i can share my own settings. the github docs for oc look like a solid starting point.

Your PBO should align with motherboard specifications and a positive value of 200. A range of 2400 to 3600 might be beneficial, though the advantage could be limited. Increasing to 32GB may be worthwhile if required.

I've set my configurations to the motherboard's maximum and adjusted the positive 100 to 100 with a curve optimizer of -30 across all cores. It's been stable, and temperatures only reach up to 72°C.

It looks fine. If you're heading to 200, temperatures shouldn't rise much at all. Otherwise, have a great time with your machine.

Its likely 8gbit rev b but worth trying rev e just incase its rev e, try copying This , if it doesnt work primaries set to 16-20-20-20 tras auto trfc 700 and if that still doesnt work try just the loosened primaries and if still not working likely micron 8gbit rev b For rev b try this as a reference but cl 14 or 16 as the cl isnt important for performance, just frees up more voltage headroom so you can run lower volts or prefferably clock it higher/tighter timings (trcd trfc whichever other timings scale with voltage)
